It helps relieve esophageal irritation. All you do is pour a cup of boiling water over two to three teaspoons of fresh or dried chamomile flowers and let it steep You can easily drink three cups on a daily basis.
Relax while you eat Stress can enhance the acid production inside the stomach. Relax at mealtime Don’t rush your meals. Chew your food completely.
Are you overweight? Lose weight. Excess weight can put pressure on the stomach and can contribute to acid reflux.
Relax between meals. Try one of the relaxation therapies such as deep breathing, to prevent as well as relieving acid reflux.
Make sure that you maintain postures that tend to minimize the risk of reflux for at least three hours after the meal. Some people also get good relief by mixing a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water. This concoction is supposed to be consumed with your meal.
