Why Doing A Full Body Detox Is Important These Days

April 23rd, 2010 by heart_health

By now you must have heard a lot about body cleanse detox. From different methods to benefits, you can find information on it from various media. For sure, too, one or more of your friends have told you about it. With so much talk going on about it, it begins to sound like it’s really complicated. However, it is not.

Our bodies have built-in cleansing mechanisms. They are composed of various organs making up systems. One example is the excretory system. This system helps in flushing out waste materials produced by normal biological processes, including metabolism. Involved organs are the kidneys and the liver. Also included is the largest organ we have: the skin.

But over the years our surroundings have significantly changed. The dawn of industrialization practically caused such changes. Factories are pumping toxic gases into the air and harmful chemicals into the water. Even fumes from cars, buses and other vehicles worsen air pollution.

What we eat has also changed. Most fruits and vegetables are sprayed with fertilizers and insecticides. Cows, pigs, chicken and other livestock are supplied with drugs for improved meat quality. Processed food items line rows of aisles in grocery stores. No matter where you look, greasy fast food is readily available!

All these toxins around us put a lot of burden on our excretory system. Soon enough it will begin to work inefficiently. The amount of toxins it can get rid of is simply overpowered by what it receives daily. And this is where the real problem begins to happen.

Accumulation of toxins within our bodies manifests itself through different health problems. The skin becomes dull and lifeless, often marred by blemishes. Waistlines becomes bigger as food cravings go out of hand. Headaches, irritability and fatigue also become daily staples. And worst of all, susceptibility to some diseases increase, like arthritis, diabetes and some cancers.

With this the case, it is through detoxification that trapped toxins in the body can be effectively rid of. There are different detoxifying techniques. Some allow only intake of fresh juices. Some prohibit consumption of cooked food. There are also some which necessitate enemas, colonics and other similar processes.

Even if you don’t subscribe to a specific detoxification method, you can help rid your body of too much waste products. For instance, you can switch to eating organically-grown fruits and veggies. Restricting your intake of meat and meat items will spare your digestive tract of too much of a burden as they’re harder to digest.

Quit smoking and drinking alcohol. Increase your intake of water daily to hydrate you, and at the same time speed up the elimination of accumulated toxins. Exercising too will lend a helping hand in the detoxification process. It will cleanse the body through sweating, and it will help you shed those unwanted pounds as well.

The benefits of undergoing a body cleanse are evident after some time. Your skin will have that certain healthy glow to it. You will shed excess pounds and have more energy all day. And there are plenty more. It may take some time getting used to a body cleanse detox, but it’s well worth it in the end.

Full Body Cleanse Promotes A Healthier Life

April 19th, 2010 by heart_health

A body cleanse helps to rid the entire body of built-up toxins. The first thing that differentiates this process from a regular diet is the elimination of red meats, alcohol, dairy and processed foods. One then begins the cleanse by consuming only water and fruit juices. This is followed by a diet of raw fruits and vegetables, along with their juices and of course, more water.

As toxins accumulate, a variety of health problems arise. These can include increased allergy symptoms, chronic fatigue, stress, chronic headaches, lack of energy and depression. The human body is constantly detoxifying itself. The liver breaks down toxins, then they are eliminated through the kidneys, skin, colon and lungs. However, modern technology and industry have produced many more food and environmental toxins than the body may be able to handle. It may need help ridding itself of these damaging external chemicals. This is where a total body cleanse comes in. This process helps give the body a rest from intake of toxic compounds, allowing it to purge itself of harmful materials.

There are things you can do to make the most of this process. Before beginning the cleanse, taper off consumption of animal products, caffeine and alcohol, as opposed to stopping these things abruptly. Suddenly discontinuing eating these items may cause adverse side effects such as headaches, dizziness and nausea. Replace the decreased consumption of these things with more water and a diet of healthy fruits, vegetables and whole grains. If you taper consumption of these foods and liquids, you are more likely to successfully complete a body cleanse.

While it may not sound very enjoyable, fasting will help the body purge itself of toxins. This allows your body to “rest” from the constant onslaught of toxins. Consumption of these harmful chemicals vastly decreases by only consuming water and fruit juice. The next phase of the body cleanse will be more successful.

In addition to fasting and drinking only liquids, either a cleanse diet and/or cleansing products should be used. Diets address the functions of multiple organs in the body. Cleansing products usually target a specific organ in the body, for example, the colon.

When shopping for a cleansing product, look for all-natural ingredients. Many contain artificial ingredients and/or stimulants. These obviously add to already toxic levels, rather than help to reduce or eliminate these harmful levels. Make sure the program promotes fat and weight loss, as many toxins are stored in fat. A total cleanse is most effective, as it reduces fat and promotes weight loss. These are two key factors in ridding oneself of harmful chemicals.

Be careful not to cleanse for too long. This type of dietary change, when followed for extended periods, can lead to loss of valuable nutrients, namely protein. This in turn causes muscle atrophy. Other side effects of a long term cleanse are anemia, irregular heart beat and low blood sugar. An average of ten days at most is usually the norm.

When done over a moderate period of time, a body cleanse leads to increased well-being. Regardless of whether a person’s regular organs (kidney, liver, colon) are already equipped to get rid of toxins, a body cleanse does leave one with more energy and an increased sense of well-being. This leads to a healthier lifestyle, which by itself decreases the toxicity levels in one’s body.

Know How To Do A Complete Body Cleanse

March 28th, 2010 by heart_health

Doing a detox cleanse is becoming a well known way to cleanse your body and allow it to function more efficiently. Everybody takes in pollutants and toxins that can affect the way the body functions even if you do eat a perfect diet. For many of us who are guilty of consuming too many processed foods, the strain we put our bodies under is multiplied.

People ingest different pollutants and chemicals these days in amounts far greater than in the past. Our bodies tend to struggle to cope with the sheer amounts of rubbish it has to filter and excrete. After a while your body can become somewhat burnt out. If you place it under the added strain of alcohol, high sugar, fat, additives, preservatives, cigarette smoke and even some medications, it can all become a bit much and you will start to notice symptoms that your body is not coping.

Your body builds up junk from the food that we eat, which is overly processed and high in sugars and fats. There are pesticides, additives and loads of other pollutants in a lot of the food we consume and the water we drink. When you do a full body cleanse you get rid of a lot of those pollutants, which makes all your body systems work better.

There are many different signals from your body that you need to do a full detox. Your body might send you signs, such as irritable bowel and other digestion problems, headaches, fatigue, irritability and mood swings, water retention, cravings, skin break out, constipation, excess weight or weight gain, cellulite, bad breath, and bloating.  These can be relieved by doing even a short detox. When you have completed a cleanse your body will operate better and in many cases you will also lose weight and cellulite.

You should aim to do a full body cleanse around once each year. This will ensure your body is able to run efficiently. There is a specific manner in which you should do a thorough cleanse and the steps to take first in order to maximize its effectiveness.

First, do a colon cleanse as the different nutrients will not be properly absorbed by the body if there is a build up in the colon area. Next do an organ and blood detox to remove toxins and heavy metals from the liver, kidneys, and bloodstream. The third step involves replenishing the body with vitamins and other nutrients it has been deprived of through the inefficient functioning of the body.

When your body receives all the nourishment it needs, then you will strengthen your immune system, but there is a final step. Following on from this you should restore the intestinal flora with a dose of probiotics. This also helps the intestinal tract to do its job properly and strengthen the immune system.

By completing a full body detox you give your body a thorough body cleanse out that allows it to function better. You will feel much better than you have for a long time. With more energy and a stronger immune system, there will be no stopping you.

Can A Detox Cleanse Diet Be Used Safely?

March 11th, 2010 by heart_health

One for of alternative medicine that has seen a recent surge in popularity is the body cleanse detox. This generally involves some form of detoxification diet. The detox market has boomed and products, programs, and pills of all kinds have been created to meet consumer demand. With all these products available, carrying both positive and negative reviews, it is easy to become confused as to which detox diets are truly safe and effective options for improving your health or losing weight. However, with careful research and close consultation with a health care professional, it is possible to make an informed decision as to which body cleanse diet is suitable for you.

What is detoxification?

Detoxification refers to the removal of harmful chemical substances from the human body. It is speculated that these toxins build up over time as a result of the high level of exposure to pollutants that we experience today. Detox diets seek to reduce the load of toxic substances entering the body via dietary sources, whilst providing it with the necessary nutrients to fuel its own waste elimination devices.

Possible benefits

Cleansing the body through diet is said to produce many health benefits. It may help immune system function, thus preventing disease and infection. Energy levels may vastly improve, particularly due to the increase in beneficial nutrients. The detox diet may aid weight loss, which can be maintained through on-going healthy lifestyle options. Those who follow detox diet plans often report clearer skin and elevated mood.

Potential risks

There are a host of unique programs, plans and products available on today’s market that have been designed with the aim of body cleansing. Be sure to find out which diets will be good for you and which may have a negative effect on your health. Consult your doctor before starting on any diet plan, especially if you have an existing medical condition. Programs that receive the most positive reviews are those that incorporate a balanced, nutritional diet.

How does the diet work?

As previously mentioned, the diet works in a two-fold manner to improve elimination of harmful waste products. One way is to limit the quantity of unhealthy substances that are entering your body. Doing this provides your body with a well-deserved rest, and allows it to focus on improving its own systems for removing toxic chemicals and waste products.

The other way to speed up detoxification is to increase the consumption of healthy foods. A good diet plan will incorporate a balanced combination of vitamins, minerals and nutrients as well as antioxidants, which will work together to improve overall bodily functioning. One of the most common systems used by the body to excrete waste materials is, of course, through bowel movements and urination. Diets should make use of high fiber foods and a good intake of water to aid these natural processes.

Those considering undergoing a full body detox for health purposes are advised to speak first to a doctor or health professional to go through the options. Keep in mind that though many full body cleanse plans and other programs are commercially available, not all of these are going to be beneficial or medically sound. It is important to research all of these methods very carefully and choose a plan that favors sound nutritional principles over quick fix gimmicks.

What Can A Body Cleanse Do For Your Health?

February 25th, 2010 by heart_health

There are many disorders in the world arising in humans due solely to the amount of toxins that people are commonly exposed to. These can easily be negated through the use of a body cleanse detox. The world used to be fairly clean. The Earth’s water was fairly natural, the air was breathable in most places that you would go, and food had very limited amount of pollutants present in total.

The food, air, and water humans used to consume was fairly clean up until the industrial revolution. Around that time, farmers were sold a new technique for growing their crops with the absolute promise that it will increase their profits. The primary result of this shift in fertilizing materials and bug repellants was a complete destruction of the value of the farmlands in the world.

The food supply was not the only place that these chemicals ended up though. The chemicals that the soil was able to handle turned into runoff from farms around the world. Most of the chemicals that were cleared from the farms ended up in the world’s water supplies. Since the water was the world’s drinking water, it has become increasingly difficult to find water that does not contain some form of contaminants.

As the chemical built up on the surface of the farms, and the soil was no longer able to consume the extra contaminants that were present on the farm, watering and rain came to wash away all of the soot build up that existed from the newly implemented farming techniques. This runoff water became the world’s drinking water. There is not truly any way to completely avoid contaminants that commonly exist in our environment. You can do a body cleanse detox though to reverse the damages these pollutants may be doing to your body.

The farms are hardly the only source of pollutants in today’s industrial age though. Pollution is being widely distributed through major manufacturing plants and the automobile industry. Even airplanes have been proven to be a source of pollution on our planet. There really is no way to hide from this increasing contamination of the global environment.

If your body comes into contact with the pollution that is present in today’s global environment, and it cannot deal with the excess foreign elements on its own, you must find other ways to deal with your health situation. There are many different approaches that you can take if you want to cleanse your body from the constant barrage of pollution that it has faced for many years. Not all solutions work the same though.

Over time, as your body attempts to deal with the excess chemicals and pollutants entering at an increasingly rapid rate, the natural cleansing system can become clogged with excess materials. If this happens, health issues can easily arise. If you use a body cleanse detox system that cleanses this part of the body specifically though, you will be able to see noticeable results from your cleansing very quickly.

Body cleanse detox is one of the best solutions you can use today for a variety of reasons. Not only do some cleansers restore the body’s natural balance that once existed under optimal conditions, but it also restores nutrients and other elements that the body has become depleted of due to excess pollution in the body. If you want to instantly restore your natural state of health and well being, you will likely want to investigate what a full body cleanse can do for you.
